One of the technologies attracting the greatest interest, due to the variety of fields of application and the significant benefits its use would bring to the foundry, metalworking, hydraulics, automotive and plastic moulding industries, among others, is an integrated system of robotics and 3D artificial vision that allows direct picking from bins of parts positioned in bulk, commonly known as “Bin Picking”.

Furthermore, thanks to the “turnkey” package, the Bin Picking system can be combined with other applications, such as additional palletising systems, thus creating a fully customised system.
”Following numerous requests from customers â primarily in the foundry sector â with the objective of automating the process of emptying bins filled with parts in bulk, we studied, designed and then built the ideal âgripping toolâ, and in collaboration with the vision system manufacturer âIT Roboticsâ developed the customised software solution called âBin Pickingâ. In this specific case, the bulk picking of metal mesh links derived from moulding, successfully achieving the complete emptying of the bins.
