Project Group Academy: 50 years of values, strategies and know-how in a training programme at the service of customers, partners, collaborators and young talents

The Project Group Academy has been launched!
A project that has been deeply felt and increasingly sought in recent years – a programme to bring to light and share knowledge, values, behaviours and strategies accumulated over more than 50 years of activity.
All of this, at the service of customers, partners, young talents and collaborators.

After all, a company that has been able to remain on the market for 50 years has built up a wealth of know-how that must be protected and safeguarded.
And the ability to recognise, process, transform and offer one’s own knowledge to the market has always been a critical success factor and an important distinguishing element to be valued.

For this reason, guided and coordinated by Prof. Stefano Setti of BluPeak Consulting, the senior technicians of Project Group are systematising their knowledge, linking it to change and transformation, thereby making it a factor for market return and organic growth of people and services.

The Project Group Academy is in fact part of a Programme for people development and organisational transformation, which aims to manage and enhance knowledge across all areas of the company in order to translate it into:
• A factor of competition and distinction in the market
• A factor of internal growth
• A factor of external growth

The programme, which includes training, consultancy and coaching, is called GROW – meaning growth – but is also an acronym for Governance, Responsibility, PM cOmmunity and KnoWledge & Academy.
With over 20 people involved, the programme is divided into 4 streams, the main features of which are outlined below:

  1. Support for the Governance Team
  2. Training for Functional Managers
  3. Development of the Project Management Community
  4. Design and construction of the Project Group Academy

GOVERNANCE TEAM
The objective is to facilitate the transition from the past to the future set-up for the Project Group management team.
Recipients are, of course, the Management and shareholders who, through work with the group on fundamental topics related to company leadership, will guide thematic team workshops on strategic and organisational subjects.

FUNCTIONAL MANAGERS
The objective is to create a strongly shared organisational culture among those with management responsibilities, developing a common managerial code of conduct.

Functional managers and all those with team and resource coordination responsibilities will therefore be responsible for training on power skills and cross-functional competencies of every kind.
From observation to problem solving and important decision-making, through to conflict resolution, change management and all the dynamics typical of a large company.

DEVELOPMENT OF A PM COMMUNITY
The objective is to create a sense of belonging and a strong sharing of the Project Manager ‘craft’ among those who lead projects – in other words, those who transform customer needs into results.

Project Managers and order managers will be tasked with organising group meetings and training workshops to explore the most critical topics, analyse project orders, define good company practices, provide mentoring through individual support on specific problems, and assess young talents.

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A PROJECT ACADEMY
The objective is to bring to light and safeguard the knowledge developed over the years at Project Group, making it a factor for market return, organic growth of internal staff, and development of services/products.
The recipients are the management and the Academy Manager figures who have taken on the task of analysing the knowledge managed at Project Group in order to design and build the company Academy.

PROJECT GROUP ACADEMY: TO KEEP UP WITH THE TIMES AND CREATE VALUE
The world of digital transformation and, within it, a company that produces systems in the Industry 4.0 field, represent a knowledge-intensive and significant scenario.
For this reason, processing, transforming and offering customers one’s own experience becomes an increasingly important factor not to be underestimated, both in order to keep up with the times internally and to create value for the external market.

This is why the Project Group Academy was born!
