Project Group presents its creator: Eng. Mirco Casini
Mirco Casini has worked at Project Group for many years. Thanks to his more than ten years of experience, he is an expert in rolling and automation, but above all he is the person who created the Ring Rolling CAD software from scratch. He can therefore be called the father of this design system which is of the utmost importance to Project Group: it is no coincidence that all customers in the rolling sector are looked after directly by him.
At Project Group, the rolling process is managed automatically: there is software capable of autonomously governing the rolling process.
For the rolled ring to be of the correct shape, both the preform and the rolling curve must be designed correctly.
This result is achieved thanks to the software, which automatically calculates the optimal preform and assists the operator/technologist in designing the appropriate rolling curve.
In addition to this, the software has a graphical simulator that allows the operator to visualise the ring machining process before the actual rolling takes place.
The most important characteristic that distinguishes Mirco Casini and his colleagues is their ability to find the most appropriate solution to every problem that arises. Furthermore, he is able to customise any type of rolling. Thanks to his expertise, Project Group is able to transform the most obsolete machines, revitalising them and making them automatic, thus allowing the customer to achieve better-performing results with less waste and rejects. Mirco Casini is a skilled project manager as well as an excellent coordinator of the team of hydraulic plant mechanics and electrical panel and machine-side assembly specialists.
